Ankara Esenboğa Airport starts to host Amman flights
Ankara Esenboğa Airport has started to host Amman flights of Royal Jordanian Airlines. Royal Jordanian Airlines is launching reciprocal flights from Esenboğa Airport to Amman, the capital city of Jordan, three times a week.
Operated by TAV Airports, Ankara Esenboğa Airport has started hosting Royal Jordanian Airlines' flights from Amman. Passengers landing to Esenboğa Airport on an Airbus 321 type aircraft and passengers who will leave for Amman celebrated the launching of new flights in a ceremony. Cabin crew who arrived at Esenboğa Airport with the first flight from Amman was welcomed and presented flowers by the officials of TAV Esenboğa and Royal Jordanian Airlines. The ceremony was attended by Esenboğa Airport Civil Administration Manager and Deputy Governor Hayrettin Balcıoğlu, Ambassador of Jordan in Turkey Amjad Adaileh, Royal Jordanian Airlines Sales and Marketing President Zakir Majali, TAV Esenboğa General Manager Nuray Demirer and the officials of Esenboğa Airport. The passengers and guests were treated a cake to celebrate the flights that connect the capital cities of the two countries.
Esenboğa Airport Civil Administration Manager and Deputy Governor Hayrettin Balcıoğlu stated: “I would like to express my happiness for the launching of the flights of Royal Jordanian Airlines that connects Jordan and Turkey, two friends and sister countries, and constitutes a very important position in Esenboğa Airport's international destinations. We wish to increase the number of these direct international flights from Esenboğa Airport."
TAV Esenboğa General Manager Nuray Demirer said: “We are glad that Esenboğa Airport is now connected to Amman, the capital and most populous city of Jordan, via Royal Jordanian Airlines. Today, we are facilitating flights to 26 destinations in 13 countries from Esenboğa Airport. We believe our growth in passenger and aircraft traffic will continue with these new destinations included to our flight network."

Royal Jordanian Airlines will be launching direct reciprocal flights from Esenboğa Airport to Amman every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays throughout the season. Ankara Esenboğa Airport provided service to more than 11 million passengers and welcomed 81,000 flights in the first 11 month of 2015.”
